Does the Texas Underground Armory in Houston currently have a range?
The state-of-the-art 180-degree tactical shooting range and premium ventilation system are still under construction. However, you can enjoy a large retail space with an extensive inventory of premium brands, full-service gunsmithing, and custom services such as Cerakote. In addition to our in-store merchandise and services, we can build or special order just about anything legal to own!

What kind of ventilation will be on the new 180-degree tactical range?
The 180-degree tactical range has a state-of-the-art climate-controlled ventilation system. The air is recycled every 60 seconds in the range. The air inside the range is cleaner than the air outside the building!
How long are the shooting lanes, and how many lanes do you have?
- Shooting lanes are 25 feet.
- Texas Underground Armory will have three bays and 15 shooting lanes.
What type of training will you offer after the ATF Playground™ expansion is open?
The Bravo Training Academy has a wide range of training for beginners to advanced shooters.
What is the projected completion date of Houston's Texas Underground Armory expansion?

Can I purchase a Membership now?
Yes. For a limited time, you can secure 80% off our founding membership and become an "Underground Elite" member by selecting one of our three tiers. Begin enjoying valuable benefits before and after the Grand Opening. *Monthly fees will not apply until our range's Grand Opening.
What will make the indoor shooting range unique?
The range will be Houston’s only 180-degree indoor tactical training center focused on defensive and competitive shooting skills. In addition, there will be a large selection of semi and full-auto rentals, traditional lane shooting, and plenty of events to make Texas Underground Armory more than just a place to shoot, but a destination for entertainment and community.
What security measures will be in place if the expansion includes a shooting range and a lounge that will serve alcohol?
While there are no strict or stringent rules or regulations that require special protocols to be in place where firearms and alcohol mix, it is a primary concern for us here at Texas Underground Armory. We have implemented a system-wide lockout policy that would prevent anyone who has partaken of alcohol on our premises from participating on the range, purchasing or renting a firearm, or purchasing ammunition for the remainder of the day.
Lounge access is monitored to prevent the mixing of alcohol, firearms, and shooters on the range. Policies prevent patrons who have consumed alcohol from returning to the shooting lanes or access to firearms.
Range Safety Officers (RSOs) supervise to ensure safe firearm handling and adherence to range rules. Closed-circuit television cameras are positioned throughout the range, entrances, exits, and shooting lanes to monitor activity and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Additionally, we work with our local law enforcement to ensure all of our Associates are properly trained to be observant of signs of intoxication or use of narcotics. Safety is of paramount importance at Texas Underground Armory, and every Associate, Member, and Guest has the right and obligation to ensure we all go home the way we came in.

Compliance and Regulations
Do I need a background check to purchase firearms?
Yes, all firearm purchases require a background check in compliance with federal and state laws. Texas Underground Armory follows all ATF regulations.
Can you ship firearms to my location?
Purchased firearms can only be shipped to a licensed FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer in your area. Make sure to verify your local firearm transfer requirements. If you are shipping your personal firearm to yourself in another city or state, we can assist with that as well.
How do I transfer a firearm purchased online?
- Select a local FFL dealer for the transfer when purchasing a firearm online. The firearm will be shipped to the dealer, and you will complete the background check upon pickup.

I have a felony on my record. May I purchase at your store?
No, Texas Underground Armory complies with State and Federal Laws. Every shooter must attest to the following: I am legally allowed to possess a firearm in the United States. I am not currently the subject of a criminal or civil restraining order. I have never been convicted of a felony as an adult or juvenile. I am not a fugitive from justice. I am not an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance. I have never been adjudicated in a court of law, as incompetent to manage my own affairs. I have never been discharged from the United States Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions. I am a citizen of or legally in the United States.
Policies and Support
What is your return policy for firearms and accessories?
Texas Underground Armory makes every effort to ensure you are happy with your purchase. Should you not be happy for any reason, contact us, and we will work with you to take care of the issue through the manufacturer or allow you to return firearms within 30 days and accessories within 60 days. Some exclusions do apply. Please see our Store Policy page for full details.

What is the store’s Firearms (Open) Carry Policy?
At Texas Underground Armory, safety is our top priority. We welcome members and guests to carry firearms in-store under the following conditions:
Holstered Firearms:
- The gun must be in a holster, bag, or case.
- If you have none of the above, and the gun is only in a pocket or waistband, an associate at the front door must clear and flag the gun.
- Firearms must always remain securely holstered while in the store and the range lobby.
- Holsters should fully cover the trigger guard and be in good condition to ensure safety.
Unholstered Firearms:
- Unholstered firearms should be unloaded prior to entering the store and flagged by an associate at the front door.
No Handling of Firearms in Common Areas:
- For everyone's safety, please refrain from handling your gun while in the store or range lobby.
