Camp Hope's Mission
In 2012 the PTSD Foundation of America established Camp Hope, a haven for veterans struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Located in Houston, Texas, Camp Hope is a five-acre campus that provides a safe and supportive environment for veterans and their families, offering counseling, peer support and resources to help them on their journey to healing.
The residential program, which utilizes evidence-based treatment methods typically spans six to nine months. It includes clinical counseling, support services, VA navigational assistance, and workforce preparation, all provided at no cost to the participating veterans and their families.
